This Mapei caulk line comes in both unsanded (smooth) and sanded (rough) textures. Use the latex siliconized acrylic caulk in the sanded tubes for projects where a rough, sand-like finish is desired. The smooth caulk would be a good choice for kitchen backsplashes or tub surrounds because the smooth texture is easy to clean. The Mapei color chart contains a variety of colors to choose from, including black and dark grays.
ColorFast Mapei caulk is mildew and moisture resistant. The latex siliconized acrylic caulk can be used in areas of moisture when fully cured. - Work in air temperature above 40 degrees F
